PatronBase’s Neurodiversity Commitment Lands a Silver Award

6 June 2025

We’re thrilled to share that PatronBase UK has been awarded the Autistica Neurodiversity Employers Index (NDEI®) Silver Award, recognising our long-standing commitment to building an inclusive and supportive workplace for neurodivergent professionals.

This nationally recognised award celebrates organisations that go beyond compliance, creating environments where neurodiversity is not only accepted but enhanced as a strength. For us, this milestone reflects years of dedication to adapting how we recruit, support, and empower our team.

We’re thrilled Autistica have taken on the important work of developing the NDEI so that employers (and more importantly, their employees) can measure their inclusivity for a neurodiverse workforce. It’s been a pleasure to be involved in the inaugural cohort.

A silver seal of approval for our neurodiverse approach

The NDEI® Silver Award from Autistica, the UK’s leading autism research and campaigning charity, acknowledges our proactive efforts to foster a workplace culture where all minds are welcomed, understood, and valued.

We’ve worked hard to ensure neuroinclusive principles are embedded across the business, from recruitment and onboarding to team communication and workplace design. That includes:

  • Structuring jobs roles and responsibilities clearly
  • Providing adaptive environments that consider sensory needs
  • Training management teams to better support neurodivergent colleagues
  • Encouraging open conversations and flexible working styles

This award tells us we’re on the right track, and motivates us to keep going.

Why Neuroinclusion matters at PatronBase UK

At PatronBase UK, we know that innovation doesn’t come from uniformity. It comes from diverse perspectives, creative problem-solving, and inclusive collaboration.

The Autistica NDEI® provides a benchmark for excellence in this space, and we’re honoured to be listed among the organisations leading the way. This award reinforces our commitment to creating an environment where every team member can truly thrive, regardless of neurotype.

We’ll continue to learn, adapt, and advocate, because inclusive employment is not just good ethics, it’s smart business.
